My Pick For Best Stuffing

So it's almost the big day- Thanksgiving!

I have tried many stuffing recipes in my past but my favorite has to be this one.

Something about the flavor, the simplicity and the freshness of the cranberries that make this stuffing a winner in my book.

Freshly sw chicken bowl

I really liked this one!

The SW Chicken Bowl was the first item that I ever tried from Freshly and my immediate response was - Yum

The the thing that most impressed me was the actual chicken breast.  This chicken was moist, tender and flavorful

The entire bowl had a complexity of flavors and textures and it all worked.

This item was a huge hit with my daughter who said it was yummier than Olive Garden!

Carne Asada Burrito

Grande flour tortilla stuffed with skirt steak, refried beans and Mexican rice. Finished with Azteca’s salsa de Molcajete and Cotija cheese. Served with pico de gallo, avocado slices and sour cream.

This burrito is delish.  As for price it is a deal.  I got two meals out of it!

Surprise Yum in my Club!

A pleasant surprise!

So upon visiting Fire on the Mountain I ordered a club sandwich.

Yes it was good as i mentioned in a previous blog post.

What I accidentally omitted was the following.  A special reason as to how why it was so good.

This club and two unique items that really made it special. 

First, there was a thin layer of not just onions but caramelized onions.  Yum!

Second, another level of delish was added to the already existing multi levels of yum, chutney.

This was a great club.

Pulled Pork Sandwich

Ok let me just say, this is what I like to see - lots of pork on my pulled pork Sandwiches.

This sandwich was hearty and flavorful.

The sauce was spot on and the pork could not have been more tender.

Huckleberry Lemonade

Nothing cools down summer like lemonade.

At Fire on the Mountain Restaurant they serve up some great lemonade and even feature a huckleberry lemonade -  amazing!

Cool, sweet and tart, totally refreshing

Citrus Harissa Salmon

I found it to be better than I was expecting.  The salmon was moist and this could be a good alternative to a burger. I was pleased about the meat to bun ratio.

My drawbacks was the lemon slices would times be a bit over powering making some bits to acidic. Also, the sauce was a bit drippy making it a bit messy.

Sound to good to be true?

I thought so to, especially at the value price of under $20 bucks.

My thoughts were " it must be small" or "they are going to be skimpy on the toppings" .

I am proud to report that neither one of my above concerns rang true!

Better Brisket

Looking for a better way to cook brisket?

How about like this!

Prepare it in the slow cooker. I do wish to

emphasize slow. Depending on size plan for about 8 hours.

Season with just salt, pepper and garlic.

Once cooker, agreed just as you would"pulled pork".

Place meat on a fresh bun.

Top it with your favorite BBQ sauce and enjoy this yummy slider!
